When we provide Office 365 cloud email we also recommend anti-virus software and spam filtering.
There are many anti-virus products available, we strongly recommend that business clients adopt a paid solution. Free versions simply do not have the same level of support and updates as for paid versions, and it’s imperative that your anti-virus provider combats new threats on a continuous basis. We recommend Vipre anti-virus as a reliable and cost-effective solution.
Spam filtering “does what it says on the tin” (tin of spam, geddit? Never mind…). A good anti-spam solution filters out unwanted emails from your inbox and importantly can act as another layer of security. Typically “phishing” emails will come from unknown senders, and as a result, typically end up in your spam folder with a good anti-spam solution in place. We recommend Maxmail spam filtering – highly effective and inexpensive.
